EMBODIED MATERIAL

Embodied Material is a collective of queer textile artists in the Twin Cities that meets regularly to discuss the intersection of queer & textile theory. The collective comes together to discuss a variety of texts, and how they make us feel. Together, we dissect complicated ideas, examining what inspires us, confuses us, and stirs us. Embodied Material began in spring of 2023 and continues to exhibit annually.
